The wonderful Felixstowe Museum will be opening on Saturdays, as well as Wednesdays and Sundays, this season to give more visitors a chance to visit the new 1980's exhibition: 'Everything 80s - Frankie Goes to Felixstowe'.
The Museum first opened its door to the public in 1982, and it is only fitting that they celebrate this wonderful achievement and the fantastic support the volunteers have given over the last 40 years with a birthday display. They will be tracing the history of the Museum and opening a new exhibition on the 1980's, the decade that brought us the mullet hairstyle, shoulder pads, shell suits, leg warmers, 'Shaddap You Face' and 'The Empire Strike Back'.
So we are going 'Back to the Future' with their exhibition and they need volunteers to help open this fantastic community facility of fourteen fascinating rooms of fun - can you help them celebrate 'Fast Cars' and 'Fame'?
If you are interested in exploring the options for volunteering, please contact the curator Andy on 01394 674355 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
